REMOTELY OPERATED VEHICLES

ROVs are remotely controlled devices and its movement can be by autonomous logic direction or remote operator control, depending on the vehicle’s capability and the degree of operator input. Vehicle power can be from an onboard battery or engine, off-board, or a hybrid of both.

Effective research and investigation activities in deep waters and Polar Regions increase the use of ROVs. Modern engineering designs that can be made with a qualified team of engineers are the driving force in the development of such systems. The FONDA team has the necessary infrastructure and engineering experience and knowledge in the design of innovative ROV systems.
